The poker laws in Switzerland will not be changing anytime soon. The Federal Council rejected a plan offered by a bi-partisan group to allow poker tournaments outside of casinos in the country.

The Singapore government sent a message this past weekend that the new casino resorts in the country should be left to tourists who want to gamble. Singapore residents should stay away, was the message delivered by the prime minister.
